Dealing with Type 1 Diabetes

Why talk about Type 1 Diabetes on a recipe blog? Here at Glutarama we're not just about recipes, it's what goes on behind the scenes that counts too. Our behind the scenes includes; Coeliac Disease, Autism, Anxiety, Anaemia and lots more in the way of life's little drama's. This category covers Type 1 Diabetes too because it's been a huge part of our lives.

However, it's worth noting that I do not go out of my way to develop reduced sugar or carbohydrate recipes as Bethany is insulin dependant and does not control her Type 1 Diabetes through diet.

It's also worth mentioning that Bethany has her very own corner of this website to write about her own experiences such as her piece A day in the life of a type 1 diabetic
